Kristi's practice focuses on transactional law, including real estate law, commercial / business law, estate planning, probate, trusts and trust administration, and elder law. Kristi has handled a wide variety of matters, including:

– The review, analysis, and development of estate plans for high-net-worth individuals and the preparation of the wills, trust agreements, and related documents necessary to implement such plans

– The opening, administration, distribution, and closing of estates

– The administration and distribution of trusts

– The review, analysis, and development of succession plans for closely held businesses and the preparation of the documents necessary to implement such plans

– Federal estate and gift tax planning and the drafting of various trust instruments to implement such planning

– The setup of various types of legal entities for businesses, lease agreements, and other commercial contracts

– The sale of businesses, assets, and real estate

– Estate plans for parents of minor children and grandchildren

Kristi is a lifelong resident of Sioux Falls. She and her husband, Gabe, have two children, twins Brayden and Briley.

Kristi enjoys spending time with her family, attending her children’s school and athletic events, and practicing law. She also enjoys running, biking, hunting pheasants with their dog Nova, boating, water sports, and all things outdoors.
